He has served in juvenile and adult correctional institutions, as well as spending years working on the mean streets of his community. He knows what it is to roll out of bed at 3:00 a.m. to help someone in need. Dr Elsey says there are no easy answers. This book shares many insights related to criminal behavior and makes recommendations which, if put into practice every day in our lives, would certainly reduce crime. His insights into the cause and cure of crime need to be considered if crime is to be reduced.
